Christmas Day Chic

Hellooooooooo!!!! How is everyone's eve of New years eve? I was having a fashion show for my mom tonight, trying to pick what I should wear for tomorrow! I think I've made up my mind! I will for sure blog it for everyone :). Today I went to work in the morning and afterwards I met with one of my closest friends. I've known her for about 3 years now I think? She is fantastic, I love her! Her and I connect on a deeper level, not just shoes and makeup. Although when I want to rant about shoes and makeup, she is always there to listen. It was great catching up with her. We have been so busy that we forgot to spend time together LOL. I hope to spend lots more time with her in the New Year! Tell me about your best friend! Also what is everyone wearing/doing for new years? Leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

When I think Christmas, I think velvet bows. And this shirt is perfect! I love the flowiness in the top, it is very unique. I save this top especially for Christmas. I tried to wear it to school one day, and dress it down with a pair of jeans but it just didn't look the same. Or feel the same for that matter. Since the top was more flowy I paired it with a tight skirt. I also added the tights and the cardigan because I felt it added more elegance to the outfit. I topped this outfit off with a fun pair of slippers, which I got for Christmas. I love them, they are super comfortable and lots of fun. Plus the outfit needed a popping statement.

Christmas Presents & Beautiful Green

Hello ladies and gentlemen! How was your day today? I worked in the morning, and then got to go home and relax. Tonight we watched "The holiday" (a tradition) and I actually fell asleep! I love that movie, and I actually fell asleep! I can't believe I did that! But I'm going to bed earlier tonight, so It will be a quick blog post! Tomorrow I am going to see one of my good friends, and I am so excited! What's every body's plans for tomorrow. I have to rest up for the weekend. Can you believe New Years is on Saturday? This year has gone by so fast. It feels like every year gets faster and faster. So I took a some pictures of what I got for Christmas I hope you enjoy! Tell me what you got?

So the famous leather pants! I've talked about them for a while, and said I would love to have them. My Mom completely surprised me with them. The morning of Christmas I was trying to pick out what to wear and I said to my Mom "Wouldn't this shirt look great with leather pants" and she said "mmmm" :). I love them! I've been desperately wanting the Naked Palette by Urban Decay, and I FINALLY got it!!! My Grandma gave this to me, and I was so excited. The picture you see is something my sister made for me. I absolutely love this gift. It really meant a lot! Also you notice clothing hangers? My sister made those too! The wood is actually from the Dominican Republic! I also got the Kim Kardashian perfume, which smells so beautiful. I got this from my Mom and Dad. My Mom knows me to well. All the clothes you see were from my parents as well. You will definitely be seeing those in a blog post. I am so excited about my clothes. I've been wanting a cape all winter! My Mom is amazing, she can read into something you really want. Every single one of these pieces means a lot to me because knowing that someone took the time to pick out something they thought you would like is really amazing. Gift giving is a challenge but my family rose to the challenge and did a beautiful job this year. Thank you everyone!

This outfit was all based around the pants. These are the most comfortable pants. Notice I don't wear jeans a lot? This cargo is the perfect pant for someone who doesn't like pants. I am not a huge fan of them, but in the colder months I like to pull out these. They are comfortable, and I love the colour! The outfit needed some spice so I wore this cardigan which is very pretty. I kept the shirt neutral by wearing black, and added the sandal's for a another spice! The cardigan definitely makes this outfit!

Winter Flowers

I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!!!! I haven't blogged in forever, seven days to be exact. I feel so bad! I've been so busy with Christmas, and family. But that's no excuse right? I am back, and I've got some great outfits for you! And I have to tell you about my Christmas. It was amazing! My sister came home from the Dominican Republic, as well as my Grandma flew in from out of town. Unfortunately I worked almost every day this Christmas, but when I did get to spend time with my family is was very treasured! How was everybody else's Christmas? Did you travel anywhere? Also, what did everyone get for Christmas. I am so excited about my gifts. I will have to blog about them and show you. I love every single one of my gifts!! Today my sister flew back to DR and the rest of the family and I went out for supper. Tomorrow my Grandma flies home, and it's back to regular life. Actually maybe after new years? Anybody have any "New Years Resolutions"? I have to still think of mine, I'll tell you when I know!

So this outfit was inspired by these shorts. I was nervous to wear shorts that look like spring/summer. But I neutralized them with black. The leather and booties make the flowers more edgy. This outfit has everything I love! Girlishness, edgy, and classy. You guys know that I love doing that! The tights underneath the shorts were for obvious reasons, it's so cold! The necklace brought out the turquoise in the shorts. The flower on the ring is almost similar to the flower on the shorts, the colour is very similar to. I think it tied everything in together. Plus since the rest of the outfit was black, it was nice to add a little colour to it. This leather jacket is my favourite. I bought it last year, to "test the trend". And what I mean by that is I will buy a cheaper version of the trend try it out, and if I really like it I will go buy a more expensive version. So this jacket was a "test trend" but I got some many compliments on it that I decided to just use it as my everyday jacket. I got people saying "is that real" or "the hood is so perfect". I love this jacket, I wouldn't buy a more expensive version. Cheaper alternatives are so much fun!

High Style

Hi everyone! Today I caught up on my sleep, and I feel so good! I woke up to sunshine, and was so inspired to do a look for you today. Only four more days till Christmas, and I haven't finished my wrapping yet! I better get on that. I always leave wrapping till last minute. One time I left my wrapping till the morning of the 25th. Everyone had to wait for me to open gifts. LOL! Does anyone else do that to? Also is everyone done their Christmas shopping? Another question: How is everyone liking my blog? Anything I should do, or change?

This look was all inspired by a simple t-shirt. This is my go-to shirt and my favourite shirt. I haven't been to New York city, but I've always dreamt of going. Just like I dreamt of this blog, so I guess someday it might happen. I'll keep you posted :) This shirt has a little bit of gold in it, so it goes with my clutch. I love this clutch, it sits on my desk and gives me inspiration for outfits. The clutch is velvet, so it goes with my velvet blazer. I always pull out this blazer out around Christmas. Velvet doesn't seem to go out of style at Christmas (At least I think so). The pants are high waisted and are so comfortable, but at times a little cold. So I wear tights underneath them to give me some more warmth. I also love these pants because they make me look taller. Paired with black heels which make me look tall to.

Pink Lace

Hello fashion lovers! How is everybody enjoying the winter trends? I've been obsessed with golds! Has anyone figured out what they are wearing for new years? I have no idea yet! Today I worked all day, and got a super exciting surprise when I got home. My Grandma was here. I am so happy all my family is around me for Christmas. It gives me so much comfort. Does anyone have any family out of town coming home for Christmas. Today is my friends birthday, so I'd like to give a shout out! Happy Birthday Emily, I hope you have an amazing day, Thanks for always been a good friend <3
This outfit was a lot of fun. I mixed two completely different pieces together, but somehow they work! Sometimes I wake up thinking "I feel like wearing a skirt today"! Does anyone else feel like that to? You just feel like wearing something! I never thought these two would look good together, but when I tried it on it was magic. I was like "Woah, really?" The skirt is gold, and has a little flashiness to it. The lace top is really girly, and so are the booties. Which is why they pull this outfit together so nicely! Topped off with my favourite earrings and a braided bun, this outfit would be perfect for shopping, lunch, or change up the heels and loose the tights this could be a night outfit to. Maybe even add a leather jacket?

Do the Polka!

Hello lovelies! Today was such a good day! I slept in...ahhh! And went out to do some last minute errands. I had a little Christmas party tonight, which was so much fun! I got to see all my good friends that I haven't seen in a while. Everybody has grown up so much since high school! Does anybody find it hard to keep friendships after high school. What can I do to keep my friendships close? I wanted to do a quick update before I go to bed. But I am falling asleep at my keyboard. So I better get going. But I will leave you with a question: Do you like do dance the polka?

This outfit reminds me of Khloe Kardashian. But it was inspired by a mans bow tie. I added a skirt to make it more feminine, along with the blouse. This outfit is very girlie, although inspired by the guys! I added a pop of colour to the shoes. I love red at this time of year, and these shoes are not to high and not to low. It gives me the perfect high. The skirt is one of my favourites. I have been wearing it since I was in grade 9. I have been looking for something similar but no such luck. I love the texture of this blouse, it matches well with the texture of the scarf. What do you think!
