International Women's Day

Hey everyone! Happy International Women’s Day! I hope your having a good day with your mom, sister, grandma, girlfriends, aunts, or whoever! How are you spending today? I spent the morning with my mom, and later I work so I am surrounding myself with great women all day! What do you think of the new layout? Anything you don’t like? I spent forever on the collage so I really hope you like it! I hope you have a good day today, and give a women a rose today for Women’s day. I know she will love it.

So this outfit was all inspired by the top. I wanted some simple pants to balance out the top and didn’t want to do the plain old black pants. So I mixed it up with some nude ones. To make it more spring ready I cuffed up the pants and added a pair of fun sandals. I also added a belt to slim my waist, and tribal earrings. The red lip was for International Women’s day, I thought it went perfect with this look. To make the outfit more grounded I added a grey bag with some flowers. This outfit is a perfect everyday spring look. Happy International Women’s day!

City Girl

Hey hey hey!! How is everybody’s Wednesday? Mine is great. I spent the day with my mom running errands, and later we went for tea. Tomorrow I work so I will try to post for you. What do you guys think of a celebrity inspired look? Or maybe one article of clothing a bunch of different ways. I’m trying to mix it up! Let me know what you guys think! Leave a comment!

This outfit was inspired by spring. I love my leather pants and wanted to wear them for spring. The yellow top gives it that pop of spring. That day I had an important meeting, so I still wanted to look the part but didn’t want to be the “regular business style”. This way it still looks professional but also showing my personal style. I think it’s important to have that balance. To finish off the look I added a ton of bracelets. I skipped the necklace because of the detail in the top, as well as a pair of my favourite black heels.

Blazer: Macy’s
Top: Costa Blanca
Pants: Forever 21
Heels: Spring

Sea Breeze

Hello friends! How is your week going? Mine is fabulous, I worked all weekend but had today to catch up on my blog! Did anyone watch the Bachelor last night? Pretty catty stuff eh? Next week is the last episode, I’m sure everyone has their girl they want Ben to be with. I know I do. Also Pretty little liars comes to a close in two weeks, and the lying game’s season finale was last night. All my favourite shows are ending I’m so sad. But the good news is that Make It or Break It is back. I loved that show, but then I forgot about it. However I was looking online a couple days ago and found it again. It will be airing March. 26, so in 20 days will you be watching? What’s your favourite show? I never realized how obsessed with TV I am until I started talking about all this. I guess all these shows are ending for a reason. LOL.

Oh my goodness, I think this has to be my favourite outfit ever!!! I love the colour combination. I’ve been loving the mint colour for spring, when I found this scarf in my room I just about freaked out. I had to feature this on my blog, I absolutely love it! So I found this dress and loved the colour of it to and decided to use it as a colour blocking outfit, although it’s very minimal colour blocking. When your colour blocking always keep your accessories neutral that way your not all over the colour wheel.  I kept my shoes nude, and my bag a light beige colour. I added a bright necklace and bracelet for more of a dramatic feel. This outfit was so comfortable and I wasn’t cold at all today! Spring is on it’s way!

The Gold Rush

Hey everybody! How are you? I wanted to update you today because my weekend is going to be super busy with work. Thank goodness today is Friday! Anybody have any plans for the weekend? I’m really excited for spring, a couple days ago it snowed and it was very depressing. I love the colours for spring this year, it’s going to be a lot of fun working with them! What’s your favourite spring colour?

This outfit was so much fun to style. Originally this was my new years outfit but at last minute I changed my mind. I think this outfit is more suited for right now because of the weather. The pink gives it that pop of spring, but the rest of the outfit is darker. I love all the metallic in this outfit it’s not over the top but they all match together. I would wear this for a supper out or even for school. The two thin belts gives it that edgy feel but the top gives it a girly feel. As well as the booties are just classic.

Top: Forever 21

Thank you so much for reading, have a great weekend!

Breaking all the rules

Oh my goodness, I’M SO SORRY!!! I haven’t posted in a long long time! You have all the right to hate me, but please forgive me? I’ve got some good posts coming up. So let me explain why I was away, my internet on my laptop was down and today we just took it in to get fixed and now all is working. It’s been a busy month! I went to a spa convention this past weekend and it was so much fun. And how was your valentines day? I spent it with friends watching a movie. Now we are in march, can you believe it? This year is just flying by. But I completely expected that. Is it time for a new layout? Do you have any suggestions? I love reading your comments!

So this outfit was inspired by the fashion “do not’s”. Mixing print is super hard to do, but I’ve done it in a neutral way. I kept the main colour a dark navy which is a neutral colour. The secondary colour in the cardigan is cream and the skirt white. Since white and cream are in the same colour family, I think this matches perfectly. The brown breaks up the pattern, and gives it a more daytime feel. I’ve also added hints of gold with my accessories. This outfit is very wearable in the day, and certain elements of this outfit make it casual. May I add that I am so sick of tights, the tights weren’t an option for me because it was so cold. But if you live in a warmer climate please skip the tights! I’m sure the outfit could look a lot better without tights.

THANK YOU so much for sticking with me, you guys are amazing!
