Summertime Passion

 Happy fathers day to all those fathers out there! I hope everyone had a great day with your dad’s! I took my dad out for supper and then spent the evening with him. This afternoon my mom and I were out doing some errands and we came across this cute little barn that sells produce. Since strawberries are in season right now we bought a whole flat of them. We also bought a pie for my dad for fathers day. It was an amazing pie! What did everyone else do with their dad for father’s day?

I saw these shoes in Aldo and was stopped in my tracks. They are so beautiful, I love the colour and the pointed toe. This shoe is the perfect spring shoe. I decided to pair these shoes with my cardigan. This cardigan is perfect for those cold spring days because it’s a heavier material. Plus it goes perfect with the shoes. I wanted to make this outfit more daytime appropriate so I added a light denim. I tried to keep this outfit light by adding a white tank top, it compliments the jeans perfectly. A perfect spring/summer look!

Dress for Less: Lauren Conrad

 Hi friends! How is everybody today? Is anybody looking forward to the weekend? Any plans? I don’t think I have plans yet, but something might come up. You never know! So today was a gorgeous day outside. I really soaked up all the sun I could. Tomorrow is going to rain again. Enjoy it while is lasts right? Does anybody have any father’s day plans? I still have no idea what to get my dad, and fathers day is Sunday! If you have any suggestions, PLEASE leave a comment. I’m desperate! LOL.

This outfit was inspired by Lauren Conrad. I read her book called “Style”, and loved her top on page 216. Her blouse is by Phillip Lim but I purchased mine at H&M. I kind of prefer it without the bow, the bow makes it look super girly. If you have not read this book yet you must! It is such a good book! It tells you everything you need to know about fashion. How to dress, what to pack for vacations, makeup, hair seriously it has everything! But she paired her top with a pair of dark Levi’s jeans, as did I. I also added a bulky bracelet because I think this outfit needed a pop. Lauren has her bow, which is why she is wearing minimal jewellery. I finished this outfit with a pair of small heeled boots. I think this is a great fall look! So you could wear shorts with this top and wear it in the summer. I love this top I wear it all the time because it is so easy. Like when you don’t know what to wear you can just throw on this top with a pair of jeans and away you go! It’s great! What’s your go-to top?

Casual and Comfortable

Hey hey! I hope everyone had an awesome day. I definitely did because I went into the Le Chateau Outlet. Unfortunately I didn’t purchase anything. I’m not sure why, I think it was because nothing really jumped out at me. I usually go for the shoes because I sometimes don’t feel in the mood to go through endless racks of clothes but I didn’t like any of the shoes. So we skipped over to the mall and went to H&M and surprise I got a dress and some bracelets. I’m loving their jewellery lately it seems like they have the best. I also went to dynamite and purchased a dress there to! So I’ve got some exciting new posts for you guys! Anybody go shopping lately? Any great purchases? I would love to know!!

This outfit is pretty casual because of the cold and damp air. The weather definitely affects my mood and my style. So I opted for a black blazer and black top underneath. I still wanted to look polished yet casual so I paired my blazer with my favourite dark denim. Since my top was so dark it would only make sense to wear dark on the bottom. A light jean just wouldn’t work with this outfit. I also added my favourite purse for some detail, and a pop of aqua for my shoes. To bring everything together I added a white belt and an aqua coloured bracelet. I think this is the perfect casual look when your on the run. What do you wear on a cold rainy day?

 Hello my darlings! How is everyone doing? I had a very busy weekend, my sister came to visit and my parents just got home from Ontario. It’s been a fun family weekend. It’s not often when all my family is around me, but when it happens its pretty crazy. Does anyone have a crazy family as well? I love them all though! Guess what’s on TV tonight? Another episode of Pretty little liars!! We wait all week for another episode and oh my goodness I am so excited! Yesterday we had our first sunny day in a long time. It was gorgeous, one of those picture perfect days. The funny thing now is that today it’s pouring rain. Did anyone do anything exciting this past weekend?

 This outfit was inspired by the “Little Black Dress”. I think everyone should have one in their closet. A plain black dress so you can dress it up and down. It’s truly a necessity. For summer I think everyone needs a “Little White Dress” because you can do so many things with it. Wear it as a beach cover up, wear it to work, a day dress and a night dress. Since the days a cooler black is just to harsh, save it for winter. A white dress gives you the same feeling as a LBD but an exciting twist. Instead of a dress I chose a skirt and top. The skirt is tighter and the top is looser to balance each other out. I decided that the outfit needed a pop of colour so I added a bright orange and red bag. To match I added red earrings and bracelets. The sandals are my favourite part of the outfit it just ties everything together and gives it a casual feel. Notice the details in this outfit? They are everywhere. I feel that the details make such a big impact on the outfit! What do you think?

Pastels Pastels Everywhere!!

Bonjour! How is everybody today?  I’ve got some exciting news, my sister is coming home for the weekend! I am super excited to see her. I haven’t seen her in 6 months. Did anyone watch the Season 3 Premiere of Pretty little liars? I did and wow! What a crazy episode, I have a feeling we are in for a good season. Who’s your favourite character? Leave a comment!

This outfit was inspired by all the pastels of spring. I’ve been seeing pastels everywhere and I love it. I wanted to put together a girlie and fun outfit. Although leather usually gives our outfit’s a rough feel this pink lightens the outfit. The yellow dress is so bright and fun it works well with the jacket. To draw your eye downward I added some pink flats. These flats have a great texture to them. The purse adds the element of design and pulls the outfit together. The neckline was looking bare so to play around I added a bold necklace. This necklace is bold just like the purse. So in this look we have 4 different textures! Can you find them?

Spring Afternoons

Hello everybody! I’m back again with another blog post. I am going to TRY to blog everyday this month, key word try! So today is the season premiere of pretty little liars season 3 and I am so excited. I was at work today just waiting for the time to go by so I could watch it. What is everybody else doing tonight? I love reading comments that you guys post, please keep them coming! 

I got this jacket as a Grad present from my Grandma in Mexico. I never thought I would anything like this it’s a gorgeous coat. What I love the most about this jacket is the flexibility of it. I can wear it in the spring, winter or even summer with some shorts! It is such a great piece to have in my closet, I am forever thankful to my Grandma. I decided to pair this amazing jacket with a pair of pink pants just to keep the outfit light. Finished off with a pair of nude heels this outfit is perfect for anything! My purse is so unique I thought this was a perfect added bonus to the outfit.
