RET•RO•GRADE Fashion Show

Our fashion show was inspired by futuristic and destruction elements. The clothes started out futuristic and then started to deteriorate. We took geometric objects and hung them from the ceiling to create a "U" shaped centerpiece. The inspiration was drawn from geometric hanging lights and rubble left behind from a fallen building. The rubble you see in the middle adds the destruction feel.

In our fashion show we had a total of 50 outfits. The looks posted below were all designed and styled by my friend Gaby Morin and I. We worked very hard on our outfits, I hope you like them. If you would like to see more pictures of the other girl's creations leave a comment below! Also tell me what you think of our fashion show!

Oversized Coats: yah or nah?

Hellooooo!!! I’m back! You guys must of thought I had fallen off Earth of something right? Well no, I am currently going to school and it is taking up so much of my time I barely get any free time to myself. Do you want to know a secret? I am currently in class right now….shhhh! We are watching a movie on Valentino and I thought I would post something. I am living on my own so I don’t have a photographer to take pictures of my outfits anymore L Sad I know right? But I am going back home for Christmas so I hope to fit in some valuable and much needed blog posts. I can’t believe how amazing you guys are for sticking with me. I guess we will just have to skip all of October, and November’s events and just move onto December. As you know, I’m going home for Christmas and I am so happy. Is anyone going anywhere for Christmas, or doing anything fun? My sister is coming home from the Dominican Republic which I am excited for, and I’ve got some Christmas parties I am looking forward to but the most thing I’m looking forward to at Christmas is the hot chocolate, movies and just plain RELAXING. Relaxing and sleeping are foreign concepts to me during school.

So oversized coats eh? I’ve seen them around town and I love them. They are a bit of a challenge to wear.  When wearing oversized coats try to keep your leg slim and elongated. In my first outfit I chose a skinny pant and a heel, In my second outfit I chose a metallic pant and grey boots this makes my leg look long. Which coat do you like best? This is a unisex trend, I feel that men and women could rock this trend anywhere!
