Warm and fuzzy

Happy Thursday! We are almost to the weekend. I have an exciting event on Saturday- my friend is throwing an amazing race birthday party. It’s a competition where we have to find different clues and drive all over the city to partake in different activities. It definitely should be a lot of fun.
For those who live in warmer climates, good on you! We are still very cold, and wet here the Fraser Valley. I took these pictures before the rain came because the forecast says five days straight rain- yikes! This outfit is super cozy, and very appropriate for where I live. I love to mix textures, it adds something different to the outfit. Almost like your mixing prints, but less loud. The mix of knit and lace has to be my favourite, because of its easy wearability and feminineness. What are your favourite combinations of textures to wear? Also wish me luck on Saturday, here’s hoping we win. (Or at least not come in last LOL)

It's still sweater weather

The weather in Vancouver is so unpredictable; I think I’ve mentioned that once or twice. We have had gorgeous 20+ degree weather and then all of a sudden BOOM rain, dampness and the chills. But we definitely have to appreciate what we’ve got, at least we get 20 degree weather, other part of Canada are still suffering. This look is perfect for those colder spring days, and the rain jacket definitely helps! Winters in London are very similar to winters in Vancouver. I’m not one to gravitate towards sweaters, but I was inspired by the English because everywhere I went someone usually had a sweater on. I especially love the preppy collar look underneath a sweater, so cute! Everyone should have a basic sweater that you can layer up, or layer down. Who else loves sweaters??

Game on

Lately I feel so overwhelmed with a long list of things to do. Sometimes I even add to my list and I never seem to get to the bottom. Blogging is my escape from the real world and into my own fashion world, so everyone that is reading right now thank you! I love taking casual things and dressing them up, who would’ve thought a sweat pant could look so cute. Can I get a what what for the sport trend! These pants are so comfortable, dress it up with some cute heels and your good to go. I tied my shirt for that extra sport look. Who’s feeling this look?
