Hello beauties!! I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend, sleeping in, catching up and having fun! This weekend I am attending the Esthetique Spa International show in Vancouver. My mom is a nail technician/esthetician, so I am coming along as her plus one! I love checking out all the new nail, makeup, beauty and skincare lines. It’s definitely an enjoyable conference. We are staying right downtown, which makes it even more exciting! Any good coffee recommendations in Vancouver? I lived in Vancouver a couple years ago, and I still like to be a tourist in my own city! I will never stop exploring! Who's feeling the itch to pull out their spring/summer clothing? I sure am, I love this top because it can be worn in any season because of the black. Originally this top was my mother's when she was in her 20's but she passed it down to me, aren't I lucky? What is something special your parents have passed down to you?
Have a great Sunday!

Warm and fuzzy

Knitted toque Vera Moda
Knit cardigan from Kersh

Fringe booties by Pink and Pepper
Gold necklace by LOFT
Happy Thursday! We are almost to the weekend. I have an exciting event on Saturday- my friend is throwing an amazing race birthday party. It’s a competition where we have to find different clues and drive all over the city to partake in different activities. It definitely should be a lot of fun.
For those who live in warmer climates, good on you! We are still very cold, and wet here the Fraser Valley. I took these pictures before the rain came because the forecast says five days straight rain- yikes! This outfit is super cozy, and very appropriate for where I live. I love to mix textures, it adds something different to the outfit. Almost like your mixing prints, but less loud. The mix of knit and lace has to be my favourite, because of its easy wearability and feminineness. What are your favourite combinations of textures to wear? Also wish me luck on Saturday, here’s hoping we win. (Or at least not come in last LOL)

Velvety love.

Burgundy velvet top from Urban Outfitters
White Cable knit sweater from Kersh
Dark blue skinny jeans from Marc by Marc Jacobs
Black riding boots from Macy's

Sundazzz. A day to rest and relax your soul, while being grateful to the one who created it. I hope everyone is relaxing at home with family, friends and a good cup of coffee today. I personally think Sunday is the best day of the week, starting off with fellowship. What is your favourite part about Sundays? Our weather has been up and down this winter, a little snow here, and a sunny day there. I love winter because I can layer lots of sweaters and be super comfy. I love working with different textures in winter to add different dimensions outfits. I paired this velvet top with an oversized cream cable knit sweater. It’s unexpected to take more of a fancy top and make it daytime, but I think that’s what fashion is, creating something unexpected. Let me know in the comments what your must have winter item is?!
