Just a casual day :)

 Hello my loves! How are you today? This week has been quite a busy week for me. I’ve had a lot of homework but I’m in my weekend right now so I can relax…a little! What does everyone have planned for the weekend? Today I will be doing some homework and then working tonight, but tomorrow I go back to my hometown to visit my parents before they jet off to Mexico! I know right, so jelly! Is anybody going anywhere in January, it’s a great month to travel. My best friend fly’s to France tonight! I’m very excited for him!  This top I got for Christmas from my mom, and I love it. It’s not something I would normally pick out for myself but when I got it on and saw how nice it looked, I was in love! I paired it with a dark wash skinny jean to make my legs appear smaller and some brown booties. This outfit is more of a comfy casual, and right now the top is my go-to top of the month! Cool Blue

 Hey hey! How is everybody tonight? Today I’m back in my hometown to visit with my parents and to say goodbye to my best friend who is going to France for 6 months! I know right FRANCE, so jealous! He will be studying for 3 months and then travelling for another 3 months. What are you guys up to this weekend? I still have a bit of homework to do before Monday comes so wish me luck guys!  The inspiration for this outfit was the top. I am loving the peplum trend, I think it’s flattering on any body type! I also love the colour of this peplum, cobalt was the “it” colour for winter! I chose leather pants for this outfit because I wanted some gloss. The top is plain by itself so it’s nice to add some punch in the outfit. To pull the whole look together I added a gold shiny necklace and gold/silver shoes. I’ve recently been mixing a lot of metals and I think it’s so pretty. Last but not least I’m wearing a gold watch, I love this watch! I get so many compliments on it. I feel like I am always changing up my watch so buying an expensive watch wouldn’t be worth my while because I change it up all the time. The watch I’m wearing I got from target for $15!

Stripes and Birthday wishes

 Hey everybody! How’s it going? So by now everybody is back in school and back to work right? This week was my first week back at school, and it already feels like it will be a tough term! My classes are Textiles, Styling, Marketing, Elements of design 2, and Fashion History. I think I will enjoy them, but I really need to keep on task and focus because it sounds like a lot of homework! Anyways this weekend I’m going back to home to visit my parents and attend a going away party! One of my best friends is going to France to study, ahh how amazing right? I’m super happy for him, and I know he will have a great time! I hope everybody is enjoying their January! I’m getting super excited for spring, I have so many spring looks that I want to wear. Is anyone else excited for spring? I want to wish my sister Justine a Happy happy birthday! She turns 27 today, leave a comment wishing her happy birthday!  This outfit was mostly inspired by the weather. I’ve noticed everybody likes to wear a lot of black in the winter time, so I matched this blazer with an all black outfit. This blazer is super comfortable and the lines are thin which doesn’t make me look wide. I understand a lot of people are scared to wear stripes because it makes them look wider, but if you wear it in the right way it will look amazing! Also when looking for stripes look at the line between the colour for example the white in my blazer. If the white is really thick it will make you look wider but if it’s thin it will make you look thinner. To match this outfit I chose gold accessories, black and gold are very on trend right now. To pull the look together I wore black heels, which are super tall by the way!

Eiffel Tower on New Year's day!

 Happy new year and Merry Christmas! How was everybody’s holidays? Mine was truly fantastic, I think this Christmas was the best. Oops I should say last Christmas J What did everybody do for the holidays?
I spent most of my Christmas relaxing with friends and family. It was great to catch up with all of my friends! I can’t wait for the next holiday lol! But what did you guys get for Christmas? I got some very nice clothes, jewellery, books, and school supplies. It was the best Christmas ever! I start school in 5 days, and I’m going to take advantage of my 5 days at home. Tomorrow I am going into the city for a meeting and a friends birthday dinner, but then it’s back home to rest!! I’ve been trying to think of some new years resolutions, here are mine:
1. To complete a new years resolution
2. Do better on exams
3. Get fit
4. Buy something Michael Kors
5. Read more
6. Blog more!
7. Travel!!

 Today was just a casual day. I am super tired from new years last night but still wanted to look good without trying. I took my best friend out for her birthday and we were both so tired! It’s funny because all my clothes are at my apartment, so I don’t have many clothes here at home. But I found this shirt in the bottom of my suitcase, and thought “perfect! Clean and hasn’t been worn yet”. (You guys know I hate to repeat myself). I styled it simply with jeans and a blazer. Later I realized that my shirt had an Eiffel tower on it and I completely freaked out! I hope this was a sign that I will be going to Paris this year! I was just telling my friends the day before new years eve about my Paris dreams. (Even though they have heard it a billion times). Crazy hey?? Any who I chose a simple dark wash denim and dressed it up with my little heal boots and blazer. I think this is a perfect outfit for being tired but still wanting to look good!
