Mixing Prints

Hey guys! As I am writing this blog post I’m watching fashion police while the sun beats down on me. I’m back in my hometown just for today and tomorrow. My friends and I are going on a little plane ride around our town. Shhh, I have a secret. I am a little scared of heights. Living in a high rise building in Vancouver, I kind of got over my fear. But we are going to be in a little cramped space (I’m claustrophobic) and going very high. I am very excited for this experience because it will be a once in a lifetime chance, but I’m scared! What are you afraid of? Let me know in the comments below!

One of my best friend’s loves to mix print. I think she wears two prints almost every day. So this outfit was inspired by her. I wanted to start small and mix prints that I knew would go together, black and white always look good together and stripes are very trendy right now. I love the print on the dress, this outfit works well together. To finish off the look I added my favourite sandals.

More colour blocking

Hello lovelies! How is everybody doing today? It is a beautiful day here in Vancouver and I am loving the sunny weather after a week of rain. How was everybody’s long weekend? It was a pretty chill weekend for me; I just watched some movies and caught up on some homework! I can’t believe it’s almost June, time is going so fast, but I am looking forward to summer! What’s your favourite thing about summer? Let me know in the comments below.

Most of you know that last year I was obsessed with colour blocking. Remember my “Warning: Extreme colour blocking” post? I decided that it’s not going to go out of style just yet. So I paired my orange top with my purple pants. I wanted to synch my waist so I added a gold belt for some fun. The top has a nude colour detail so to compliment that I added a nude colour blazer overtop. To complete the whole look I added nude heels. This outfit is perfect for work, school, and going out. It’s versatile and fun!

Suit up

Hey everyone! I’m back again for a quick update. I wanted to share what is my go-to outfit for an interview. For school we have to interview somebody with a job in fashion that we would like to one day do. I interviewed a designer and merchandiser in this outfit, and both have commented on it saying that they love the suit. It’s so perfect to have in your closet to whip out once and a while. So what is everybody up to today? It’s raining in Vancouver today, so my mom and I went to Ikea and shopped around a bit. Also my friend is moving in to my apartment today! I’m so excited!

Let me know if you’ve ever lived with a friend in the comments below!

Talk to you soon!

So like I said above this outfit it my go-to outfit for interviews, it is so professional but very trendy. I paired it with a simple black V-neck, chunky watch, and black peep toe pumps. I kept this look very simple and all around professional with the muted accessories. The pumps just give the outfit a shine. Everyone must have a go-to suit! What’s yours?
