Don't leave just yet summer!

Hey guys! How is everybody today? I’m back in my hometown for the weekend, and I love it! I had brunch with two of my friends this morning then went shopping for a bridal shower gift, and birthday gift. Tomorrow is my friend’s birthday and she is having a tea party! I’m really excited; I’m definitely going to be blogging my outfit for you guys! Yesterday my mom and I spent some time together; I always love having long talks with my mom about everything. I think it’s my favorite part of my life is my long talks with her, asking her questions about how to deal with everything that is happening. Do you love long talks with your parents? Leave a comment!
My mom actually bought me this dress while in Miami; she fell in love with the print. I absolutely fell in love with the print when she brought it home. I knew exactly what I was going to pair it with. I complimented this dress with a floral necklace. Both the necklace and dress have the same colours, so I thought it was a perfect match. To finish off the look I paired it with some white flats. This look is a perfect summer look for tea, or hanging with friends!

Somewhere in the mountains

Hello everybody! I mentioned on Monday I was going on a plane ride with my friends, well I did it! I was not as scared as I thought I would be. It started out very scary taking off but once you got into the air it was spectacular. It was such a great experience, and I somewhat got over my fear of heights. We went to Harrison Mills, Stave Lake, Golden Ears Provincial Park, and Lillooet River. It was amazing to see all the untouched mountains and how huge they are. Living in the Fraser valley all my life I knew we were surrounded by mountains but I did not know there were THAT many mountains.  The plane ride was an hour long and I enjoyed every minute of it. Big thanks to my best friend Emily for taking me! Also what do you think of my outfit. My friend gave me this top and I’ve been dying to wear it. It’s so beautiful; it will be my go-to shirt from now on. I can wear it with anything, I love it! I paired it with some shorts because it was very hot that day. To pull the outfit together I added a nude coloured flower necklace, and nude sandals. Have you ever been on a plane ride? Leave a comment!

Mixing Prints

Hey guys! As I am writing this blog post I’m watching fashion police while the sun beats down on me. I’m back in my hometown just for today and tomorrow. My friends and I are going on a little plane ride around our town. Shhh, I have a secret. I am a little scared of heights. Living in a high rise building in Vancouver, I kind of got over my fear. But we are going to be in a little cramped space (I’m claustrophobic) and going very high. I am very excited for this experience because it will be a once in a lifetime chance, but I’m scared! What are you afraid of? Let me know in the comments below!

One of my best friend’s loves to mix print. I think she wears two prints almost every day. So this outfit was inspired by her. I wanted to start small and mix prints that I knew would go together, black and white always look good together and stripes are very trendy right now. I love the print on the dress, this outfit works well together. To finish off the look I added my favourite sandals.

Celebration of lights!

Hello everyone! How is everybody’s weekend going? Mine has been good, I went to the fireworks last night downtown. The fireworks were inspired by Thailand, which was really cool. The music was perfectly in sync with the fireworks. I really wanted to share this night with you guys because the fireworks are so beautiful, and I loved my outfit! LOL! My outfit was inspired by the fireworks, I wanted to be a little dressed up, but still warm and comfortable. It gets pretty cold at night here in Vancouver so I knew a dress or skirt would not be a good thing to wear. Instead I opted for my favourite jeans and a sparkly top. I thought it would go nicely with the fireworks. To finish off the outfit I added my sparkly flats, they were very comfy to walk in. Leave a comment below what you think of my outfit/fireworks? Also let me know if you were there, or does you town have fireworks in the summer as well?
