Gold love

Happy May long weekend! I hope everyone is enjoying their extra holiday Monday! For those of you from other countries today is a holiday in Canada. It called Victoria day, everyone tends to go camping, or spends their time close to a lake. I am so sorry I have been away for so long, but I took a little holiday. You’ll find out where I went and everything I did in tomorrows blog post, so get excited for #traveltuesday! This pictures were taken in a beautiful location; the Chilliwack lake area. My town has such beautiful mountains and lakes! Onto the outfit! I took this gold skirt and paired it with an army green tee for a casual vibe, then dressed it up with a leather jacket and cheetah heels. It’s unexpected, but I love taking the unexpected and making it look cool. It amazing what you can do dressy items/casual items! What is an unexpected piece in your wardrobe? And also, what did you do for the long weekend? Let me know below :)

leather leather

Quick hello today! I hope everyone is super fantastic! I’m actually headed off someplace exciting today. As it is Mother’s day this weekend, my mom and I are going to visit my grandma so we can both be with our mom’s! I’ll give you a couple hints as to where we are going: 1. It’s an hour flying time/ 10 hours driving from where I live, 2. They are very proud of their AAA beef, 3. This province does have mountains, but none where we are going. Any ideas? If you know leave a comment down below. I hope everyone has an amazing mother’s day, and I hope your all planning on spoiling your mommas!

Favourite Item

Hey everyone! How are you guys today? It was such a beautiful day in Vancouver today! My friends and I did a little shopping, and ate some yummy Vietnamese food. I did not buy anything because I am on a strict budget. LOL! Well, trying to be on one! I hope you guys are enjoying your Thursday!

So I wanted to share with you what’s been my favourite garment for the past couple months. As you guys know, I am a HUGE fan of purple. It’s my all-time favourite colour, and I’m totally obsessed with it. When I saw this coat in Old Navy, I knew I HAD to have it. It is such a beautiful colour! Anyways, I’ve been wearing it almost every day January, February, March and April. I will definitely show you how I style it! I just wanted to quickly showcase it, and tell you all about it. What do you think? Do you have that one garment that you love and completely describes you?

Suit up

Hey everyone! I’m back again for a quick update. I wanted to share what is my go-to outfit for an interview. For school we have to interview somebody with a job in fashion that we would like to one day do. I interviewed a designer and merchandiser in this outfit, and both have commented on it saying that they love the suit. It’s so perfect to have in your closet to whip out once and a while. So what is everybody up to today? It’s raining in Vancouver today, so my mom and I went to Ikea and shopped around a bit. Also my friend is moving in to my apartment today! I’m so excited!

Let me know if you’ve ever lived with a friend in the comments below!

Talk to you soon!

So like I said above this outfit it my go-to outfit for interviews, it is so professional but very trendy. I paired it with a simple black V-neck, chunky watch, and black peep toe pumps. I kept this look very simple and all around professional with the muted accessories. The pumps just give the outfit a shine. Everyone must have a go-to suit! What’s yours?

Sheer romper love!

Hey hey! How is everyone? I hope you enjoyed your day. I sure did! Yesterday a bunch of my old friends and new friends got together to celebrate my best friends birthday. I had so much fun being with everybody. We went for supper at the Olive Garden, has anyone ever been there? They have really good food. I wore a mint dress with nude heels. I will be posting this outfit soon because I love that dress and would love to share it with all of you! Anybody have a favourite dress in their closet, I know everybody does! Well have a good week and I’ll talk to everyone soon!

This piece my mom brought back for me from Toronto, I absolutely adore it. It’s just so different, the pattern, the shape, everything! It’s like a short romper, but has a shear fabric on the leg. It’s a super fun party look, because you don’t have to fix your dress all night. I paired it with a blazer for a more appropriate look and black patent heels. I also wanted to show you a picture of the piece alone because it can be worn just by itself for one of those hot days. To top everything off I added some bold earrings and a bold clutch for colour. Such a fun look, don’t you think?

Question of the day: Who loves Carly Rae Jepsen?
I've always been a fan of her music but lately she's been doing so well on the billboards that I love her even more. I'm so proud of you Carly!
