Just business.

This outfit is everything cool, and by that I mean trendy cool as well as cool for this hot day. Crop tops are so stylish, and we are literally seeing them all over street style bloggers. I love taking the unexpected and turning it into something different. Normally I wouldn’t think of this outfit as office appropriate being that 1. It’s a crop top and 2. The top and skirt are cotton. But throwing on a blazer, or jacket and classy pair of heels instantly makes this business-esque. What I love about this outfit the most is the comfort, I vowed at the beginning of this year to not wear anything that does not make me feel comfortable. This skirt is so versatile; I’ve got so many ideas for this one garment! What’s your fashion goal for the year?

serious for plaid

These days I feel like time is slipping away. I wake up, and then sooner or later its night and I’m back in bed again to sleep. Once I left high school time started slipping away, but it slipped away for the better because in college all I wanted was to get on to my next phase in life. Well here I am in that next phase, and I’m still unsure of the future. I keep hearing “Your only 21, you’ve got lots of time to figure it out”. I just want to know right. Now. But the beauty of it is that God has our future, he knows what’s going to happen.

The secret to styling daytime is balance. Taking something casual, but dressing it up. Or taking something fancy, and dressing it down. I love the combination of something unusual about an outfit. Plaid reminds me of those jack coats that farmers wear, but plaid can get dressed up as I’m showing here. It can be worn a thousand different ways! How do you wear your plaid??

Game on

Lately I feel so overwhelmed with a long list of things to do. Sometimes I even add to my list and I never seem to get to the bottom. Blogging is my escape from the real world and into my own fashion world, so everyone that is reading right now thank you! I love taking casual things and dressing them up, who would’ve thought a sweat pant could look so cute. Can I get a what what for the sport trend! These pants are so comfortable, dress it up with some cute heels and your good to go. I tied my shirt for that extra sport look. Who’s feeling this look?
